We’re barely past the first month of Chapter 7 Season 1, but everybody’s already asking when Season 2 hits. Epic dropped their full schedule for updates this year, which means there’s no guessing anymore. You want to know when the next season starts? We got you covered with all the Season 2 info.

We know the frustration, that’s why we’re here to suggest you U7BUY, a site where you can easily top up and buy Fortnite V-Bucks at the cheapest prices you can ever imagine! From what we know, the next season will launch on March 4. This doesn’t come from leaks and instead straight from their roadmap. Also check out the current battle pass to see when the next season will start.
That means you still have almost two months to wrap up the current battle pass. And it has a lot of good skins, so it’s time to start grinding!
Norse Mythology Theme Leaked

The biggest leak so far is that Season 2 will be all about Norse mythology. Think Vikings, ice worlds, and legendary Norse gods walking around the map.
What This Theme Could Include
If the leaks are true, Season 2 could work a lot like the Greek mythology theme from last year. Here’s what people who dig through game files expect to see:
- Map split into different areas based on Norse gods
- New spots on the island like Midgard, Asgard, and Niflheim
- At least one big snowy area with ice-themed places
- Viking-themed Battle Pass skins and other cool stuff
Ice King Boss Fight
One leak from a trusted source says that an Ice King will show up on the map as a boss fight. Bosses have become really important in Fortnite lately. They drop the best weapons and special items that make you stronger.
Players can expect the Ice King to spawn in the snowy part of the map. Beating this boss could give you powerful ice powers or weapons. Just like with the bosses in Season 1, you might even get an item that turns you into the Ice King.
Possible Collaborations
Kratos from God of War

The Norse theme is perfect for some amazing team ups. Kratos from God of War is rumored to return since he actually fought Norse gods in his recent games. This would make perfect sense and fans have been asking for Kratos to come back.
Star Wars Content in Late April
The late April update will probably bring Star Wars stuff to the game. Epic has celebrated May the Fourth with special events every year.
Players have been asking for lightsaber pickaxes for a long time now. Many people think this might finally be the year Epic adds them. The timing works out great since the update comes right before the yearly Star Wars celebration.
What Else to Expect
Live Event

Epic always has a big live event to move from one season to the next. Expect a huge story event in early March that takes us from the Hollywood theme of Season 1 into the Norse mythology of Season 2.
These live events usually break or change parts of the map. The sunny Golden Coast we have now might get covered in snow or get invaded by warriors from Asgard.
New Weapons and Items
Every season brings totally new weapons to use. Season 2 will probably remove some of Season 1’s guns and bring back old favorites or add brand new weapons.
Based on the Norse theme, expect to see:
- Ice weapons that can freeze enemies
- Mjolnir hammer as a super powerful melee weapon
- Viking axes and shields
- Frost rifles or crossbows
Map Changes
The Golden Coast map will get big updates for Season 2. At least one or two new named spots will get added based on Norse mythology. The sunny beaches might turn into frozen water and the Hollywood hills could become snowy mountains.
Epic usually keeps most of the map the same but changes key areas to fit the new theme. This helps players learn the changes without getting totally confused.
Full Fortnite Roadmap for This Year

Epic released their entire update plan for the year. Here’s when major updates are coming:
| Date | What’s Happening |
| January 22 | New update with possible Chainsaw Man stuff |
| February 5 | Regular update |
| February 19 | Last Season 1 update |
| March 4 | Season 2 launches |

Upcoming Team Ups This Year
Beyond Season 2, Epic has several team ups planned:
- South Park already dropped in early January
- Resident Evil coming in March
- Chainsaw Man might come soon
- Crash Bandicoot and Fallout characters are rumored but not confirmed yet
These team ups will probably happen across the next few seasons this year.
